7. Trying To Impress People

We are social beings and naturally we wish to look good– appealing, pleased, successful– in the eyes of others.

This is only magnified by Facebook and Instagram. However, putting up an exterior is pushing away and keeps us from living authentic lives and constructing genuine relationships.

On top of that, it’s a stressful time waster. Relax, put down your guard, let other people see your imperfections and flaws.

8. Regret

You don’t have to be identified by the things you when did or didn’t do.

Do not let yourself be managed by regret. Possibly there’s something you might have done differently, or possibly not.

In any case, it’s simply something that has already taken place. Leave the unchangeable past behind you as you give yourself to today’s moment.

9. The Desire For Everything You Don’t Have

No, you won’t constantly get precisely what you desire, but remember this:

There are lots of people who will never have what you have today.

The things you take for granted, another person is hoping for. Happiness never comes to those who do not value what they currently have.

10. Being Fearful

Fear is a feeling, not a truth. The best approach to acquire strength and self-confidence is to do what you’re scared to do.

13. Watching Too Much TV

Television is an excellent way of unwinding for numerous of us and if you’re deliberate about viewing TV because of that and you keep an eye on the time you invest enjoying it, then that’s fine.

However, what about plonking down on the sofa at night. Do you still find you’re on the couch a few hours later? Did you drop off to sleep in front of the TV? Possibly you simply find yourself enjoying TV for the sake of it, because of dullness or just out of habit?

Think about whether this may be a waste of your time. Is there anything more productive you could do instead?

You don’t need to validate your decisions or options to anyone.
