How to practically Start Your Day Off Right With an Energy Boost

One day, I woke up with a headache and not feeling my best. I walked downstairs to see my family and the only sound was a TV playing in the background. My dad was sitting in his chair with his head bent forward, drooling. My brother and sister were on the couch watching TV.

I walked into the kitchen to find my mom doing dishes and I voiced my disappointment in their lack of enthusiasm for the beginning of their day. They laughed and said they thought I would be up bright and early to join them.

I grabbed an apple from the fruit basket and ate it while getting ready for work. The TV in the background annoyed me so I turned it off as I finished dressing for work. As soon as I left, my family started conversing, something that’s been rare since mom left for her job last year.
