In this article I’d like to share with you 3 tips on how to stop being lazy for good.
But first, you need to know that laziness is a normal thing. Don’t beat yourself up, or hold into this indentity that you are a lazy person, you’re not.
If you don’t like reading, you can watch the video below if you want…
Even there are times that I don’t want to do the work, and I want to just lay on my bed and do nothing.
So, I figured out some tools, and hacks to break that cycle of laziness, and get things done regardless.
So let’s get strated…
How To Stop Being Lazy For Good

Hack #1 : The two minutes rule
One the best discoveries that I made in the self improvement so far is the strategy of « 2 minutes rule » that I learned from Jamesclear.com
Bascially, instead of waiting of motivation,or inspiration to strike on you, all you need is to start with 2 minutes or less.
Let’s say you want to get in shape, and you don’t feel like going to the gym. It feels so haivy that you start making excuses to skip it.
Instead of falling victim of your brain, just pack your gym-stuff, show up, and do small stretchs for 1 or 2 minutes and leave. That’s it.

Showing up is better to stay stuck in your head, and doing nothing.
Once you do that for just few weeks, what you’re doing is building new neurological connections, and it will start to be more easier, and you can increase the time and the effort as you go.

Hack #2 : Break the task into small ones
Let’s say you have an essay to prepare and just by thinking about it, you feel this kind of a big ball in your stomach. I know it sucks.
And let’s say you did your calculation, and you found that it will take for about 2 hours to finish the essay.
Instead of setting for 2 hours straight, why not break it into 10 minutes a session.
Or you can use the first hack which is « 2 minutes rule » to break this heavy emotion, and get the ball rolling first, and take the time up to 10 minutes.

By doing that, you’ll interfere smartly this psychological force called resistance that your brain stikes whenever you want to do something unusual, and hard.
So try it now.

Hack #3 : Have a powerful why
Another way to stop being lazy for good, is to tie a big, and a powerful why to what you’re trying to accomplish.
I found that it’s tremendously helpful.
Like in everything that I’m doing here, even writing this blog post, I have a purpose behind it, because honestly I didn’t want to do it.

Setting and writing is not compelling for me. But because I want to build a successful online brand, and share my knoweldge, impact other people, and some day be financially free, that’s what got me out of my head, and do it regardless.
So those are my 3 little hacks on how to stop being lazy for good.
