How To Discover Your Most Effective Morning Routine

The morning routine is a crucial part of your day. It helps you start the day off on the right foot, and it also sets the tone for how you’ll spend the rest of your day.

In order to discover what works best for you, try experimenting with different routines and see which one resonates with you.

What works and what doesn’t? What time should I wake up to start my day in order to get the most done? What are the key factors that lead to a successful morning routine?

After reading an article in the New York Times, he decided to take the challenge of tracking my routines for a week. he was looking forward to seeing clear results.

At the beginning of my attempt, he woke up at 6:30 AM every morning.

After a few days, though, this seemed too early and my body didn’t feel as rested as it needed to be for productivity so he started waking up at 7 AM and then 7:30 AM before finally settling on 9 AM.

After a week of tracking what time he woke up, what activities during that morning, and how many hours worked during those activities, he was able to come up with eight guidelines for having your own successful morning routine.

They were as follows:

1. Wake up before you need to start your day.

2. Start your day with a light, healthy breakfast to keep you going throughout the morning.

3. Stay hydrated and drink lots of water throughout the morning to avoid headaches and feeling tired or drained during the day.

4. Exercise in the morning before noon, especially if your workday is later in the day.

5. If you work at a desk all day, take breaks throughout the morning to stand up and stretch out your back, arms, shoulders, and head.

6. Try to maintain a regular sleep schedule so you’re not exhausted during your waking hours of the morning (or just have more energy).

7. Develop routines that make you feel confident during the morning.

8. Don’t over-plan your day; it all comes out in the end, and you’ll know what to do when the time comes.

With these guidelines in mind, he was able to develop a morning routine that made him feel rejuvenated and energized throughout the day.

Set the Right Priorities with This One Simple Morning Routine

A morning routine is not the time to be doing busy work. It is time to set your priorities and get things done that will move you towards your goals. The following are some of the tasks that you should do in your morning routine:
