Quote #1: ” The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity.” Amelia Earhart

That’s unfortunatly, what a lot of people lack. The decision to act and to start, and this quote really nails it.
When you master the art of showing up, and taking action, the other things like persistence, perserverance become a lot eaiser.
Quote #2: ” Amateurs sit and wait for inspiration, the rest of us just get up and go to work.” Stephen King

That’s so true. A lot of people live an average life not because of lack of talent but because of waiting to things to be perfect as they’d wish.
In other words, a lot of people live in the realm of the things that are outside of their control.
But for the successful ones, they take full charge of their lives, and their focus go mainly to the things that are within their control, so they find the way to any barrier that they encounter.
Quote #3: ” Build your own dreams or someone else will hire you to build theirs.” Farrah Gray

Oh my goodness! This one is the best. That’s what’s happening in this capitalistic system.
Either you are kind of a slave to the system, and make ends meet, meaning working for someone else, and taking advantage of the system and build your own weatlh and live your live like a boss.

Quote #4: “You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help others to get what they want.” Zig Ziglar

That’s also is one of my favorite quotes, and it’s famous in the self help world.
You can also frame this way: The money that you will make depends on how big or small the problem you’re solving.
So, when you adopt the mindset of being helpful to others, and put their needs above yours, you can get whatever you want, because even this trait is rare in our modern world, and people appreciate that.
Quote #5: ” Love and work are the cornerstones of our humanness” Sigmand Freud

Especially when you combine them both. It’s the receipe of success. Period.
When you love your work, and what you do, it dosen’t feel like work anymore, and that’s how you can get successful rapidly at what you do.
It’s kind of a shortcut to success. So, if you want to start a business, choose carefuly your idea, or the product you want to work on.
If it’s merely for money, or based on external motives, It’s going to be a dread to make it to the top.
Quote #6: “Starve your distraction and feed your focus.” – Unknown

You know the big problem we are facing in this modern age, is the reverse of this quote. People are feeding thier distraction, and starving their focus.
We all know success, and achieving any goal, requires such effort and time.
And time has a lot of importance in this equation, because if you can protect it against the time-wasters like social media, playing video games, you can acutally save a lot of enerygy down the road.
So, achieving you goal wont exhausting and energy draining.

Quote #7: “If you have time to whine then you have time to find solution.” – Dee Dee Artner

This quote is an eye opening to what we focus on, and how we use our time.
Sadely many of us, indulge in complaining, and whining, and this time that you spent on that, you can’t get it back.
Actually when you complain, your mental state gets shifted, your energy goes down, so you close your mind to any creative ideas to come, and the ability to be productive becomes tough.
So, choose carefuly where you want to use your time. Whining, or finding a solution. It’s all up to you.
Quote #8: Plans are nothing; planning is everything. – Dwight D. Eisenhower

This quote is not a clever play with words, but it gives you a difference with plan and planning.
In the productivity space, there’s this emphasise on having plan. To be successful you got to have a plan, and that’s totally wrong.
You can come up with a plan today, and it could serve you this day, or this month, but things will inevetably change tomorrow, and this plan will be not useful, because it’s fixed.
But planning is adaptative and variable. It’s an ongoing action without any boundary of time, basically it’s a habit and that what makes to whole difference in the long run.
Also the act of daily planning will also help to deal with unexpected challenges and circumstances and overcome them.
So, all your focus need to go to planning, not having a plan.
Quote #9: “You can’t get much done in life if you only work on days when you feel good.” – Jerry West

That’s so true. Basically, if you are always waiting to feel good to start working, actually you will wait forever, because of 2 reasons:
- The first one is, as you may noticed, and experienced, most of the tasks that were handed to us, we don’t like them, but we have to do them, because it was necessary, and that goes to anything new you want to learn, or to build in the future.
- The second one, our mood fluctuates a lot even if you think that it’s within your control, but most of the time you don’t, and actually if you are waiting to get to normal, you will find yourself doing unproductive stuff.
Quote #10: “To be disciplined is to follow in a good way. To be self disciplined is to follow in a better way.” – Corita Kent
Quote #11: You were born to win, but to be a winner, you must plan to win, prepare to win, and expect to win.

Life can be divided into2 boxes: Winners, and losers, and no in between.
Winning, or losing could have many variations, and many meanings.
But what I reffer to, is you habits, the quality of your decisions, your financial situation, how good you feel about yourself, where you’re at spiritually, do you have goals, dreams, inspirations?
For me, losing is not checking all those boxes that I mentionned above, and that’s what most people are in, unfortunatly.
Here Zig Ziglar gave us the 3 elements to winning in life and be successful:
- Planning (as I talked about above in this post).
- preparing: learning the skills, toughening your mindset, and your thinking by reading for example.
- and expecting to win: believe in yourself, but mostly believe on what you do.
Quote #12: By failing to prepare, you are preparing
to fail. – Benjamin Franklin

Preparation is key to getting what you want. A lot of people undermine this, that’s why we fail at doing the things that we really want to, and not what must to do.
Like for example, in the online world, that’s a huge opportunity to be successful financially, and live your dreams, but how many people actuallty make it? You know the answer…
That’s because most people aren’t prepared for it mentally, and emotionaly.
I’m sure you are familiar with the icerberg of success.

All what’s below the sea, it’s the preparation part. As you see there’s huge effort that need to be done, and it’s intimidating for a lot of us.
So, what people do? They focus on the top of the iceberg because it’s shiny, and glorious, and that’s why people don’t succeed in life.
Quote #13: The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing – Walt Disney

I made this mistake a lot in the past. I was a tallker, more than a doer.
I found the more I talk, the less results I get. Why?
Well, I noticed that the main reason is to prove myself to others, and to my family members because of the ineriorty complex that I experienced trhoughout my childhood, which is a bad thing to do.
No one cares about you’re doing. Even people won’t ask you what you’re doing because most of us are sleepwalking trhough life.
The other reason is all I got doubts, and fearful words and statements from them. And as you know words have energy that influence your whole mind, and that was stopping me from getting ahead.
Right now, I don’t talk to anyone about what I’m doing. I just have faith, and blief in my ideas, and I take action. Period.
Quote #14: The secret of getting ahead is getting started – Mark Twain

All you need to do is to start! Simple as it is.
A lot of people indulge in procrastination, because they make things complex in their heads, or they wait for things to be perfect before pulling the trigger on their ideas.
Everyone is chasing the big stuff. Social media exacerbates also this tendency and way of thinking, because everyone is flexing, and showing off.
And that what’s preventing people from truning their passion into a business for example, or mastering a skill.
So, don’t get caught up in the pool of complexity, pick one idea, one skill, and just start with it in small steps.
Quote #15: If you have to eat two frogs, eat the ugliest one first – Brian Tracy

Brian tracy is really known by his “eat the frog” principle. Which means to start first with the hardest and the most important task on your to-do list.
I think that having that kind of tenacity of taking action one the biggest stuff, is the antidote of procrastination, without a shadow of a doubt.
Let’s face it, the truth of the matter, most of things that we need to do, we don’t like them, or they take long hours, and devotion to do them right.
It’s simlply a muscle that builds up over time like going to the gym.
This kind of thinking should in your toolbox of productivity, because it’s inevitable, otherwise you’re going to go too far in life.
