Do you have limiting beliefs that are holding you back from turning to your full potential, acknowledging your purpose, and establishing your perfect lifestyle?

What Are Limiting Beliefs?

Limiting beliefs are narratives we tell ourselves which we believe to be real. These stories come from our analyses of events we experience.

Then we begin to live by these stories throughout our individual and business endeavors.

We all pick up limiting beliefs literally from birth and throughout childhood, along with adulthood.

Our subconscious mind understands details and reasons about our capabilities and place in the world.

Coming from a location of wanting to protect us these narratives can be our most significant limitation to attaining our goals.

You might inform yourself that you can’t accomplish something, you do not have the skills you’d require to get to where you wish to, you’re not good at something, or that you don’t should have true fulfillment and happiness.

Limiting beliefs get in your way. They hold you back by keeping you in your self-created box and stunting your ability to experiment and grow.

How can you get rid of them?

So, here are 4 quick steps to overcome your limiting beliefs for good so you can achieve what you want in your life:

Step #1: Notice Them first!

To be able to eliminate your limiting beliefs, you first need to acknowledge them. Try to find an area in your life that you are dissatisfied. Chances are that you’re taking a look at a limiting belief.

Document all the beliefs that come into your mind around the subject or the area, without any judgment. 

When you rehearse over them, you will be attracted to the belief/s which are limiting you and holding you back.

Step #2: Examine

Once you’ve determined a belief you wish to get rid of, consider where it might have originated from. 

What experiences or external sources might have affected you? 

Just the procedure of thinking about the belief in this way will produce a range in between you and the belief, currently helping you to separate.

You can thank your subconscious for attempting to protect you, however, start to state “no thanks, I do not want it”.

It’s also effective to journal about why the belief isn’t true, listing all the opposing evidence you can discover.

Step #3: Let it go

Having gone through your examination, you will most likely feel a lot more clearness over what the belief you want to dispel is, and for that reason, you will be able to stare right at it, perhaps for the first time.
