When you’re stoned, your IQ goes down by 5 points.

When you multitask, it falls by an average of 10 points — 15 for guys and five for ladies.

It’s time to leave your multi-tasking habit, especially if you’re a male.

Tip #3: Eliminate diversions.

If staying in your workplace will keep you focused, then do it. Lock your door, turn off your phone, e-mail, and notifications

If you’re still quickly sidetracked, go offline or even turn off your internet connection.

Still having a hard time? Go to the quietest distraction-free location of your workplace until you’ve finished the job.

Tip #4: Plan your e-mail.

Constantly opening and closing your inbox may look like work, however it’s a diversion.

Destroy this bad habit by selecting 2 or 3 times during the day to check your e-mail.
